High School Program in Manufacturing: Creating Innovations

Have you ever wondered about the people behind the technology in your favorite gadgets or the eco-friendly solutions that are changing our world? Well, a career in Manufacturing, which is available to Central Texas residents like you, plays a crucial role in these innovations. Jobs in this field contribute to creating microchips for smartphones, powerful processors for gaming consoles, batteries for electric cars, biodegradable materials, and efficient solar panels that don't harm the environment.

Starting as early as 9th grade, high school students can take courses related to Manufacturing. These courses align with industry needs and even allow students to earn college credits toward a Level I Certificate or an Associate's Degree through practical, hands-on learning experiences.

How to get started

While many schools in the region offer comprehensive Manufacturing programs, we recommend checking with your high school counselor to find out about the available courses at your specific campus.
